Eucharistic Prayer The Eucharistic Prayer is the great prayer of thanksgiving prayed by the priest in you name and that of the Church.

general intercessions General intercessions are prayers at Mass for the needs of the Chuch and the world.

Holy Communion Holy Communion is holy Bread and Wine that you receive in the Eucharist.
Holy Family The Holy Family is the name for Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

liturgy Liturgy is the public worship of the Church. It includes the sacraments and forms of daily prayer.
Liturgy of the Eucharist The Liturgy of the Eucharist is the second main part of the Mass.
Liturgy of the Word The Liturgy of the Word is the first main part of the Mass.

Mass Mass is another name for the celebration of the sacrament of the Eucharist.
mercy Mercy is loving kindness and forgiveness.
mission Mission is the work of the Chuch.
Missionaries Missionaries are people who bring the good news of Jesus and God's kingdom to people in other places.
mortal sins Mortal sins are serious sins that cut people off from God's life.

New Testament The New Testament is about the life and teachings of Jesus and the early church.

original sin Original sin is the first sin committed by the first people.

parables Parables are short stories about everyday life.
penance A penance is a prayer or an act to make up for a sin.
prayer Prayer is talking to and listening to God.
proclaim To proclaim Jesus is to tell about him with loving words and actions.

Reverance Reverance is the care and respect you show to God and holy persons and things.

sacrament A sacrament is a holy sign that comes from Jesus and gives life.
Sacrament of Reconciliation In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, God's forgiveness for sin is given through the Church.
sacramentals Sacramentals are blessings, objects, and actions that remind you of God and are made sacred through the prayers of the Church.
saint A saint is a holy person who obeyed God and followed Jesus.
savior The savior is the one sent into the world to save people who were lost through sin and to lead people back to God.
Son of God Son of God is the name of Jesus that tells you God is his Father.

Temple The Temple was the holy building in Jerusalem where the people came to worship God.
trust To trust is to believe in and depend on someone.
